Mithun's son Namashi opens up about Orry's fame; says, 'I’m stressed'
Mithun Chakraborty's son, Namashi Chakraborty, discussed the disparity in fame between individuals like Orry and his own challenges in establishing a career in the film industry.
Namashi, who made his acting debut with 'Bad Boy', reflected on his own privileges while also acknowledging the years of struggle he endured to secure auditions in Mumbai.
In an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Namashi opened up about why he doesn’t get photographed by paparazzi like other star kids. The star kid shared that he tried doing that for a month. He used to rent out clothes and pose, but that didn’t get him any work, so he decided to stop doing it.
While narrating one story to his friend, Namashi shared that he was sitting in Soho House, and his friend asked him what he does for a living. Namashis' friend was very impressed when he told him that he is an actor and that he is Mithun’s son. He saw his social media and asked, 'Bro, are you friends with Orry?
Namashi expressed surprise at the question and reflected on the extensive effort he had invested in pursuing his dream of becoming a hero. He pondered over the challenges he faced during his three-year stint in Aaram Nagar, recognising his lineage as the son of a prominent star.
Despite this, Namashi found himself comparing himself to someone who gained fame through selfies and pouting, feeling that more people were familiar with him. Feeling stressed, Namashi contemplated the necessity of increasing his visibility. He admitted to desiring a level of fame similar to Orry's but emphasised that it wasn't the type of recognition he truly sought.
