Mithun Chakraborty's first wife Helena Luke’s cryptic last post: "Feeling weird. mixed emotions," raises eyebrows

Bollywood legend Mithun Chakraborty’s first wife, the ‘Mard’ actress Helena Luke breathed her last on November 4. Even though the real reason behind the former actor’s death is unknown, her last social media post has raised eyebrows.


One day before her death, Helena shared a cryptic Facebook note that read, “Feeling weird. Mixed emotions and no clue why…” She ended her note by saying, “Discombobulated.”


Helena’s last post is now filled with comments from her followers. One comment read, “Oh dear my dear Helena. We are going to miss you, you bubbly girl. Wish you had called the ambulance last night. RIP dear friend.” Another comment read, “Yes had seen this post, guess she was getting some prenomination. Will miss you but also remember you for all the good times in our early growing-up years.” A third commented, “Just a day before you passed! Last post! Very sad! Will miss you. A premonition you didn’t quite comprehend !!!!Sad indeed.”

Senior actress and her close friend Kalpana Iyer shared the news regarding the death of Helena Luke on the last day.

For the unversed, Helena was the first wife of Mithun Chakraborty and they were briefly married for 4 months. Helena pursued her education from Queen Mary School which was followed by St Xavier’s College before stepping into modeling and acting.

Helena is best known for her performances in the superhit films ‘Mard’, ‘Do Gulab’, ‘Ek Naya Rishta’, ‘Judaai’, and ‘Yeh Nazdeekiyan’. She also played pivotal roles in several Gujarati movies that earned her much recognition. She later became an air hostess and moved to New York in 1984.
