‘Mission Mangal’ director Jagan Shakti credits Akshay Kumar of “bringing him back”

Crediting the ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor Akshay Kumar of “bringing him back”, Jagan Shakti reportedly said that Akshay is the one who brought him back. According to the filmmaker, the actor not only gave him a life and a film but also brought him back to walkable situation.

Director Jagan Shakti of fame ‘Mission Mangal’ made headlines recently after he was admitted to the hospital after he was diagnosed a condition called arteriovenous malformation (AVM). The filmmaker, who has now recovered and is back on his feet, cannot stop singing praise of actor Akshay Kumar.
It was reportedly said that Akshay, who got to known about the situation of the filmmaker, rushed to his side and took care of things.

Crediting the ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor of “bringing him back”, he reportedly said that Akshay is the one who brought him back. According to the filmmaker, the actor not only gave him a life and a film but also brought him back to walkable situation.
The director also mentioned that Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen were also very supportive. He also revealed that Vidya Balan used to check on his health status daily.
Taking about getting back to work, the filmmaker reportedly said that he is good now and is coming back to the grind and show more good cinema.
Akshay and Jagan worked together in films like, ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’, ‘Pad Man’ and ‘Mission Mangal’.
Shedding some light on his medical condition, Jagan Shakti added that the arteries and veins were joined together in his brain, forming a clot. He also revealed that every year in the winter, he used to get headaches which would remain for around one week or 10 days, and then go away.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay has his hands full with films like, ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, ‘Bell Bottom and ‘Bachchan Pandey’.
