Mira Rajput Kapoor recently shared a photo of her wedding reception invitation with Shahid Kapoor, looking back happily on their special day. Almost ten years after their wedding, she gave fans a glimpse of the elegant invitation card and expressed her love for the beautiful memories from their celebration. The couple got married in a simple ceremony with close family and friends, followed by a grand reception that was attended by many well-known guests.
On Instagram Stories, Mira uploaded a detailed snapshot of the reception invite from her wedding to Shahid Kapoor. The invitation stated: “We celebrate the beginning of their new life. Request the honour of your presence at the wedding reception of their dearest Mira & Shahid.”
The simple yet chic card named their parents: Bela and Vikramaditya Rajput, Neelima Azeem, Pankaj Kapoor, and Supriya Pathak. It listed the details: Date: Tuesday, July 7, 2015; Time: 7 to 10 in the Evening; Venue: Grand Ballroom, The Oberoi, Gurgaon. A lotus design and symbolic motif highlighted the couple's purity, innocence, and strong values.
Alongside the picture, she expressed, “Look what I found," followed by a shooting star emoji.
Earlier this year, Mira celebrated their anniversary by sharing a collection of old photos on Instagram that captured different moments of their life together, including their children Misha and Zain, and Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter. Along with the pictures, she wrote, “Ten years later, and you’re still the one—my forever. You and I, we, us, and now.”
Shahid and Mira Rajput had an arranged marriage facilitated by their families through a spiritual organization. Mira took nearly six months to accept the proposal, while Shahid fell head over heels after their extended seven-hour discussion at a Delhi farmhouse.
