The last hearing was at Mumbai’s Dindoshi Sessions Court where Alok’s plea to prohibiting Vinta from speaking to the media about her ordeal was rejected. As reported by Spotboye, when Alok’s lawyer Ashok Saraogi questioned whether the pain she experienced was from an assault or whether it was just hangover. To this, Kapadia promptly replied that everyone where it pains when a woman is subjected to rape, so what was the point of discussing it. Apparently, it was this line that really decided the case in Vinta’s favour.
