Raveena Tandon, who is all set to be a part of a committee set up by the CINTAA to tackle sexual misconduct opened up about her views on the ongoing #MeToo movement at an event which happened last night.
Talking about the #MeToo movement in our country Raveena said, "There was a time when women did not know what to do or where to go in such a situation but now, we have a platform where they can speak out.
This is needed to make our industry a healthier and safer environment. Everyone's safety is of the utmost importance but there are some people who want to take advantage of #MeToo."
When the #MeToo movement had just started in the Industry Raveena was one of those celebs who came out in support of the victims and slammed Bollywood for its deafening silence.
