Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is currently embroiled in a legal battle with his former partner and director Vikas Bahl, who has been accused of sexual harassment by an employee of the now-dissolved Phantom Films in the wake of the

#MeToo

movement in India. While much has been said and done since the report of sexual harassment was filed, followed by a legal battle with has now resulted in the alleged victim filing an affidavit stating that she stands by her allegations but does not want to pursue the case further.

Apart from going to court to counter the claims of sexual harassment, Bahl also filed a defamation suit against Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane and sought Rs 10 crore in damages for ruining his reputation, which the Bombay High Court has picked November 21 as the next date for the hearing.

Kashyap and director Motwane have been under fire for their alleged inaction in the sexual harassment allegations against Bahl. According to latest reports, the two reportedly filed their affidavits with additional evidence of WhatsApp message.

, now seem to be divided into two camps. While Kashyap and Motwane, who are also working on a web-series together, are reportedly on one side, Madhu was reportedly seen having an animated discussion with Bahl and avoided interacting with the other two.
