Meet the actor who plays Dhoni's captain

The trailer of 'MS Dhoni' has released and it has got cricket enthusiasts and fans of the Indian Cricket captain excited. While Sushant Singh Rajput plays the titular role, Ashrut Jain has an important role, too. We hear the actor, who is awaiting the release of 'Sunshine Music Tours And Travels', plays Shabbir Hussain, Dhoni's school captain.
An excited Ashrut says, "A scene featuring Sushant and my character walking towards the crease featured in the trailer and I'm happy that the trailer has received a lot of positive response."
He adds, "Dhoni and Shabbir broke Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli's partnership.Dhoni scored 213 in 150 balls and Shabbir, 117 off 116 balls and created history. I'm proud that I get to portray the 'captain' of Dhoni."
Meanwhile, talking about his experience working on Shailendra Singh's 'Sunshine Tours', he says, "I play Rajma Romeo, who is madly in love with Alia Bhatt. While this film releases on September 2, Dhoni's biopic releases on the 30th. It happens to be my birth month and I am super excited."
