Meet Ahaan Panday's mother, Deanne Panday: Former model, Wellness Coach and Author who started her fitness journey at 11, to glowing in her 50s

“He came, he saw, he conquered.” These six words best describe the impact of Ahaan Panday’s debut in Bollywood with ‘Saiyaara.’ From the audience to the critics to the industry’s bigwigs, everyone has been lauding Ahaan for his stellar performance. Amid all this, Ahaan Panday’s mother, Deanne Panday, is also making headlines, as she continues to impress with her commitment to wellness.

Deanne Panday - a former model who became a fitness pioneer

Deanne Panday has been following a wholesome wellness and fitness routine long before it became a popular trend. Professionally, her career started as a professional model, but later, she moved into the health industry and today has established herself as a fitness author as well. Throughout her career, she has trained numerous Bollywood stars, including Bipasha Basu, John Abraham, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Preity Zinta, and others.

It all started when Deanne Panday was only 11 years old

Deanne found herself inclined towards the world of fitness when she was not even a teenager. During her conversation with SME Futures in 2020, she revealed, “When I was around 11 years old, my older sister, who was into modelling, would often work out to Jane Fonda videos. When she left for work, my younger sister and I would play the cassettes and try those 90-minute challenges. I never knew that my passion would lead me where I am today.”

Though her parents enrolled her in a commercial arts college, it did not stop her workouts. “While studying in college, I got a job and used my pocket money to join a 5-star hotel gym. When people of my age went for movies, I chose to work out,” she quoted.

Deanne is in her 50s, and yet her beauty, charm, and wellness are unmatched. The secret, perhaps, lies in the early start and the consistency that she never gave up on. “I started practicing health and wellness at a very young age. I solicited yoga, practiced eating organic food on a daily basis before these trends even came out in the open, traveled across the world along with my clients, so my life took a holistic turn much earlier,” said Deanne.
