Now many actresses have since spoken up and the director has since stepped down from directing
'Housefull 4'
. At an interview, she spoke about why she didn't take the legal route with Sajid.
After sharing her ordeal in detail, the actress revealed that she never wanted to make it legal. Speaking further about it, she said that her intention was not to put someone behind bars but to get more women talking about it. She added that the movement for her was not about punishing people but rather starting a dialogue, for that is how sexism can be eradicated from the industry as a whole.
In light of this enlightening interview, what remains to be seen if more names come up in the future and whether this leads to constructive dialogue or not.
