Manushi Chhillar, the former Miss World, recently faced disappointment with the underperformance of her latest film, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ at the box office. Despite her dedication to the role, the movie failed to meet expectations, and she recently candidly addressed her reaction to the film's fate.

Reflecting on the outcome, in an interaction with Zoom, ManushiChhillar expressed a mix of emotions. She mentioned that a lot of things happened in her life overnight. As an actor of course she wants her films to do well, and for people to enjoy her movies. However, it doesn’t happen every time and that is quite normal.

The actress added that it is important for her as an artist to keep exploring. Box office numbers are not in an actor’s hand and she has made peace with it; thus, doesn’t think much about it.

Playing the character of Captain Misha in ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ Manushi shared the screen with a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Alaya F, with Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also features Sonakshi Sinha and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles.

Despite the setback, the former pageant queen remains focused on her craft and upcoming projects. She is set to appear in the political action thriller ‘Tehran,’ alongside John Abraham. Directed by Arun Gopalan, the film promises to showcase Chhillar's versatility as an actor.
