Manoj Bajpayee is undoubtedly one of the most talented actors we have in Bollywood. The ace actor recently spoke about stardom. While he feels fans respect him because of his work, their reactions to Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are different.
In a recent interview, Manoj cited examples of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan as he spoke about stardom. He said he is amazed to see how at the age of 80, a huge crowd comes to see Mr Bachchan every Sunday. SRK and Salman come to their respective balconies to wave at their fans and lathi charge has to be done to control the crowd.
According to him, when it comes to him, the audience looks at him with respect. The moment Salman, Shah Rukh comes, fans go crazy. We cater to our audience very differently and the reaction comes in accordance with that, Manoj told RJ Siddharth Kannan.
On the work front, Manoj will next be seen in upcoming family drama, ‘Gulmohar’. Helmed by Rahul Chittella, the film also stars Sharmila Tagore, Simran, and Suraj Sharma in the lead roles. It will stream on an OTT platform from March 3 onwards.
