Manisha Koirala and Jackie Shroff begin promoting ‘Prassthanam’

With ‘Prassthanam’ less than a month away from release, its lead actors have started the promotional spree for the film. Starring Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Ali Fazal and Satyajeet Dubey, the film has been directed by Deva Katta. Co-incidentely, Manisha and Sanjay will share screen space after almost 10 years in the political drama. The film is said to be a remake of the hit South Indian film by the same name, which was released nine years ago.
At a recent promotional event, Manisha shared a picture of herself and Jackie, and captioned it, ‘Dost mera!! @apnabhidu and moi during #prasthaanam press meet!!’


Manisha has been selective about her projects ever since she made her comeback in Bollywood. The talented actress was diagnosed with ovarian cancer back in 2012 and post treatment abroad, was declared cancer-free in 2015. She made a comeback the same year with ‘Chehere: A Modern Day Classic’, which bombed at the box office. However, her next film ‘Dear Maya’ two years later was critically acclaimed. Last year, she starred in ‘Sanju’, where she played the character of Sanjay Dutt’s mother, late actress Nargis Dutt.
