Manisha Koirala admits stardom made her 'arrogant': 'There were some mistakes I made...'

Manisha Koirala recently admitted in an interview that stardom once made her slightly arrogant. Reflecting on her journey, she expressed regret over certain mistakes.

In conversation with Pinkvilla, Manisha admitted to experiencing changes. She reflected on becoming somewhat arrogant, attributing it to the rapid success she achieved without much initial effort. She acknowledged that youth and inexperience often lead to limited self-awareness and understanding of the world.

She further explained that the early success made her feel like the center of the universe, fostering a sense of arrogance. However, with maturity and life experiences, she came to understand that such a perspective was far from reality.



The Heeramandi actress admitted to making some mistakes she regrets but emphasized they weren’t significant. She acknowledged that her choices were personal and, while unintentional, may have caused hurt to others along the way.



She explained that being a sensitive person played a role in her actions, and a significant influence in her life has been her parents. No matter how successful she becomes, they always remind her to stay grounded and humble.

Manisha Koirala made her Bollywood debut in Subhash Ghai's 1991 film Saudagar. Her latest project was in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.
