Manasvi befriends a cub in Dubai

Manasvi, who was in Dubai recently, has found a new friend — a cub lioness, Bijlee.
She says, “Exotic pets are allowed in Dubai, and my friend had just adopted her. Bijlee’s previous owners had abused her, and she had become very moody and choosy about whom she allowed near her. When I met her, she was pretty defensive. But, after a few hours, she thawed a bit. I took her with me on a drive, and she even accompanied me for a swim. I was initially supposed to be in Dubai just for a few hours, but I extended my stay to spend time with her because Bijlee is so adorable.”
