mumbai: the fourth mami international film festival, initially slated to conclude tomorrow, has been extended by one day, according to the organisers. "this has been done owing to tremendous positive response and enthusiasm shown by the movie buffs," a mami spokesperson announced here today. however, the valedictory session would be held as per the original schedule tomorrow at the nehru centre at worli in south-central mumbai for which veteran actor sunil dutt will be the chief guest.
the salient feature of the valedictory session will be "acknowledging the achievements" of noted bollywood actress rekha and cinematographer v k murthy. mira nair's much acclaimed monsoon wedding will also be screened on the occasion, the spokesperson added.
