Uri: The Surgical Strike

' is emerging as the first hit film of 2019. The film which is high on patriotism and evokes the feelings of nationhood had managed to draw the audience to the theaters. People have been very much impressed by the performance of Vicky Kaushal, who underwent vigorous training to portray the real-life sacrifices our armed forces make to protect our nation. After making such a wonderful film which serves as a tribute to the courage and valour of the Indian Army, the makers of the film did another wonderful thing which sets an example for all of us.

On the occasion of the 71st Indian Army Day, the makers and the star cast of the film attended the parade and other celebrations in Delhi today. Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, and director Aditya Dhar were present at the event. Ronnie Screwvala’s production house RSVP also decided to make a donation of Rs 1 crore towards the welfare fund of Army widows.

The film is running successfully across the box office and people are definitely loving the film. The film is based on the surgical strikes carried out on September 29, 2016, by the Indian Army on terrorist launchpads across the Line of Control. The strikes were carried out in retaliation to a terrorist attack on an army camp at Uri earlier that month.
