The images show Mahima in full bridal attire alongside Sanjay Mishra in traditional wear. The snaps went viral online, fueling speculations about them tying the knot.

The rumours gained traction also because Mahima Chaudhry was previously married to architect Bobby Mukherji from 2006 to 2013. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2007, but their marriage ended in separation and later divorce in 2013. The new viral images sparked curiosity among fans about a possible second marriage for the actress, who has largely stayed away from the limelight in recent years.

However, it has now been confirmed that the viral video and pictures are not from a real wedding but are part of a promotional stunt for Mahima and Sanjay Mishra’s upcoming movie 'Durlabh Prasad Ki Doosri Shadi'. The film, directed by Siddhant Raj, uses the creative marketing approach to create hype for the movie.

Earlier, the makers of 'Durlabh Prasad Ki Doosri Shadi' had released a motion poster showing Sanjay Mishra holding a framed picture of Mahima as a bride. The caption teased audiences with the line: “Dulhan mil gayi hai, ab tayaar ho jaiye, kyunki baraat nikalne wali hai.”
