Madhuri Dixit's mother passes away: The actress can't hold back tears at her funeral: Pics inside

Madhuri Dixit's mother Snehalata Dikshit passed away at the age of 90. She was bed-ridden for a while now and she breathed her last, on Sunday morning. Her funeral and last rites are taking place at a crematorium in Worli. Madhuri and her husband Sriram Nene shared a joint statement which read, "Our beloved Aai, Snehalata Dikshit, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones."

Madhuri was spotted at her funeral. She folded her hands at the paparazzi from her car and looked heartbroken. She also couldn't hold back her tears as she was papped in her car.

Madhuri's son was also seen with her.

Other celebs spotted at the funeral included producer Amritpal Singh Bindra who had produced Madhuri's last project, 'Maja Ma'. Celebrity make-up artist Mickey Contractor was also spotted.


On her last birthday, Madhuri had shared the most heartwarming pictures with her mother and wrote, "Happy Birthday, Aai! They say a mother is a daughter’s bestfriend. They couldn’t be any more right. From everything that you’ve done for me, the lessons that you’ve taught have been the biggest gift for me from you. I wish you only good health & happiness! ❤️"


On work front, Madhuri was last seen in 'The Fame Game' and 'Maja Ma' on OTT.
