Madhuri Dixit played the role of Devi in the thriller drama along with Jaaved Jaaferi and Jackie Shroff who stepped into the roles of Sunil and Ram Kumar respectively.

Remembering director Partho Ghosh

The original film’s director, Partho Ghosh, passed away in June 2025 at the age of 75 following a heart attack. Ghosh began his career as an assistant director in 1985 and gradually made his mark in Bollywood. He was focused particularly in the thriller and drama genres. He earned recognition with 100 Days in 1991. Later he directed hits like 'Geet' (1992) and 'Dalaal' (1993).
