However the premika of this story — Madhuri Bhattacharrya — is faced with an uncalled-for situation these days.Following the widespread promotions of Prem Kaa Game, which warns wives to watch out for this husband-stealer, anonymous women callers are requesting her not to indulge in such acts, which can disturb somebody’s domestic life. “I am having a hard time politely explaining to all such concerned callers, that I am harmless, and the Prem Kaa Game promotions are only publicising my screen character, not my real one. Luckily, I have managed to convince each one of them. In fact, one such harassed lady, who spoke to me in Gujarati, apologised and finally broke down whilst talking to me, explaining her plight that her husband was seeing another woman.” So if not the other woman, Madhuri surely seems to be slowly slipping into the shoes of an Agony Aunt, whom women have started calling up, to confide their domestic worries.
