Madhur Bhandarkar and Tamannaah Bhatia visit the National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai

Madhur Bhandarkar and Tamannaah Bhatia recently visited the National Museum of Indian Cinema at Peddar Road in Mumbai and shared their earliest memories of films.
During his visit, Madhur Bhandarkar said,"National museum of Indian cinema is such a gem in the heart of Mumbai and I have filmed two of the early acclaimed films, Aan-Men at work and Satta at Gulshan Mahal (which is now NMIC building). It’s nostalgic to revisit this place after so many years”
Tamannaah Bhatia was really surprised to be at the National Museum of Indian Cinema and said,"I wonder how come I didn’t know about it all this while. I felt nostalgic thinking about how we used to write song lyrics in a diary in the pre internet era. Also a section of it gives me a glimpse of how far the portrayal of women in Indian Cinema has come.”
Ravinder Bhakar, MD NFDC and CEO CBFC told us,"National museum of Indian cinema stands for cinematic excellence and we invite Madhur Bhandarkar and Tamannaah Bhatia to visit NMIC again." He added that NMIC would preserve more works of talented artists in future.
In July, Aamir Khan also visited NMIC and spoke about his family's connection with films.
