Madhoo reveals Amitabh Bachchan picked her up and did a victory lap in the ground after winning a cricket match together

Madhoo’s performance in Mani Ratnam’s 1992 film ‘Roja’ is one of the unmissable experiences in Indian cinema. From the plot to its music, this film provided ample space for both Madhoo and Arvind Swamy to showcase their talent.

In a recent interview, Madhoo shared an old memory of playing cricket with Amitabh Bachchan and how she helped in winning the match. Big B could not control his happiness as he picked her up and took a lap around the stadium.


In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, Madhoo revealed that in the 1990s, she heard that Ronit Roy had a blue sapphire stone which was a lucky factor in his life, so she also wanted to wear the stone. The actress later participated in a charity cricket match between cricketers and celebrities. She was in Amitabh Bachchan’s team, and the match was held in a stadium in Hyderabad. Many people were there to cheer for the players.

Madhoo just hit the ball and managed to score two runs. She also took the last wicket. Thousands of people were clapping and cheering for her. As an actor, it was a first-time experience for her. Soon, Amitabh Bachchan picked her up and did a victory lap. She believed that the stone was lucky.
