Madhoo is making her comeback

Roja actress Madhoo returns with aunt Hema Malini’s production
After roping in veteran actors Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna for Tell Me Oh Khuda, Hema Malini springs another surprise by getting her niece Madhoo to join the merry cast. Roja girl Madhoo is making her comeback with this film after four years. She was last seen in Kachchi Sadak in 2006.
The charming actress plays Vinod Khanna’s daughter-in-law, who is pregnant for the second time.Her role is that of a Rajasthani woman who has to fight the bias against the girl child in the state. An excited Madhoo says, “I did Mohini for Hema and at a time when I thought I will not do TV. I played Urvashi in the series that Hema was directing called Women of India. I have unconditional love for her. When she wants me to do something, I have to because she is family.”
Madhoo is a mother of two beautiful daughters and took a break from Bollywood when she got married to Anand Shah in 1999. She adds, “It is a trial to see how my children handle my absence. I If everything goes well, then I will be open to serious work.”
Madhu, who is facing the camera after a long time, was nervous more about her looks than acting. “Acting cannot be learnt, so therefore cannot be forgotten. As soon as the camera is on, you just become the character.”
Madhoo hopes to do roles like the ones Michelle Pfeiffer and Meryl Streep are doing. She says, “I still feel the desire to act. I can’t play youthful roles like Katrina does but I also don’t see myself playing character roles.”
