Luv Sinha FINALLY confirms he did not attend sister Sonakshi Sinha's wedding to Zaheer Iqbal, lists out his reasons

Actor Luv Sinha recently addressed the speculation surrounding his absence from his sister Sonakshi Sinha's wedding to Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. Amid media curiosity, Luv clarified that he chose not to attend the ceremony due to his personal stance of not associating with certain individuals, regardless of circumstances.


Luv expressed his perspective by sharing a media excerpt on X, highlighting a passage discussing the groom's father. The excerpt from The Telegraph referenced a "grey area," mentioning concerns about Zaheer Iqbal's father's alleged ties to a politician whose legal issues were reportedly resolved through questionable means.


Quoting the article, Luv said, “With carefully curated news stories about his family business, nobody tread grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose ED enquiries had vanished in the “washing machine”. Nor was there a whiff of the groom’s father’s stint in Dubai….” He further wrote in the comments section, "The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend, and would not associate with some people no matter what. I’m glad a member of the media did their research instead of relying on creative stories being put out by a PR team."




Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot on June 23 in an intimate ceremony at their Bandra apartment, surrounded by family and close friends. But the noticeable absence of Sonakshi's brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha, has continued to be a topic of discussion on social media. Earlier in his interview with Hindustan Times, Luv Sinha was asked about his absence from the wedding, to which he responded cryptically, "Please give it a day or two. I'll respond to your question then if I feel I can. Thank you for asking."
