Lucky Ali reveals he has been married three times to women in different countries
Lucky Ali, who has given us indie-pop hits like 'O Sanam', 'Kitni Haseen Zindagi', and more, recently opened up about his life, marriages, equation with his maternal aunt, and his decision to step away from Bollywood.
Citing the example of his own father - the legendary Mehmood - Lucky Ali stated that even his dad got married outside India. He added that their home has always been global.
For the unversed, Lucky Ali got married to Meaghan Jane McCleary first. Later, he went on to marry Inaya, a Persian woman. The singer has two children from each marriage. In 2010, Ali and British model Kate Elizabeth Hallam decided to get hitched. The two share a son.
He went on to say, "I've always been responsible towards my kids," adding, "I believe the only true way of parenting is through love—children learn from what they see their parents do."
The singer went on to add that after his father's demise, he felt that there was nothing left for him in the industry. He said, "I didn’t even have friends."
Lucky Ali says he married thrice: 'Every situation was unique'
In an interview with Navbharat Times, Lucky Ali revealed that he had been married thrice; however, none of the three relationships worked out. He said, "It's not necessary that you start and end life with the same partner." The singer went on to add, "None of my marriages worked, but all my relationships are still alive. In the same interview, Lucky Ali revealed that he decided to distance himself from Bollywood because people misbehaved with him. He said, "People had misbehaved with me, but it wasn’t toxicity that drove me away—it was the monotony."The singer went on to add that after his father's demise, he felt that there was nothing left for him in the industry. He said, "I didn’t even have friends."

Lucky Ali's mother was legendary actress Meena Kumari's sister. Talking about his equation with his aunt, the singer shared that she was like his mother. He said that the actress was an "extremely loving and strong lady" and that she always supported his mother. He revealed that, as a kid, he used to bunk his school just to see her. He said, "Whenever she fell sick, I would visit her, and she would smile and tell me, ‘Go back to school.’ She loved me a lot."Top Comment
