The Goa police on Wednesday issued a lookout notice for pop star Remo Fernandes saying the Padmashree awardee had failed to appear before them in a case of a minor girl’s verbal abuse. It came even as the star is abroad and has sought time till January 8 to appear before police.
“The accused person is wanted by Agasaim police station and if anyone has information on the whereabouts regarding him, please intimate Agasaim police station,” inspector Jivba Dalvi said in the notice.
Fernandes's counsel, Damodar Dhond, informed police that his client would arrive in Goa before January 8.
