Living life king size

The girl who scorched the screen in the 'Cheena Thana' number is back in Kollywood, and enjoying it.
Living life king size
Actress Ragasiya loves living life king size. I like spending a lot and buying good stuff whenever I shop. I need to travel by the most comfortable mode of transport available, she says.
Its no wonder, then, that Ragasiya also chooses roles in films that are bound to garner a lions share of audience attention. Currently, she is shooting for Indira Vizha (starring Srikkanth) which has her playing the role of an undercover journalist.
1x1 polls
I liked the theme of the film... and more importantly, the climax involves me, she smiles.
She shot into fame with the famous Cheena Thana number in Vasoolraja MBBS. Expectedly, Kollywood directors soon wanted her to do more such numbers. Yes, I did a few such numbers after that but it got boring. I wanted a change and did some roles that offered scope. Ive never been tagged as an item girl I like it that way, she adds. Off films, she is like any normal girl, spending more time on shopping than on anything else. Shopping in places like London and Paris thats what I would do if given an option!
While other Mumbai-based heroines would normally go gaga over Bollywood, Ragasiya indulges in some Bollywood-bashing. If you dont go through the right channels, you can't make it big. Its only down South that good talent is recognised, irrespective of where it comes from, she states. Getting meaty roles and winning the national award figure high on her wish list.
She also does her homework and does not set foot on any venture without enquiring about the unit and the director's reputation. Ive heard a lot about Rajeshwar and his film that starred Simran (Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi).
For me, bonding with the team is the most important factor. That would probably explain the fact that shes already signed more than a couple of films with the team. For her, bonding well is as important as living big.
