Suraj Sharma, best known for his role in the Oscar-winning
Ang Lee directorial ‘Life of Pi’, may soon be heading down to
Bollywood
for his next, if reports are to be believed. The actor, who made his Hindi film debut with the Anushka Sharma-starrer ‘Phillauri’, is said to be teaming up with Faraz Ansari for his next ‘Sabr’.
The actor will reportedly play the parallel lead of a straight character to a queer character in the film that also features
Shweta Tripathi and Shernaz Patel in pivotal roles. The hunt is reportedly still on for the director, who is keen to get a big name on board, including
Amitabh Bachchan for a cameo to spread awareness.
Interestingly, this film will also mark the reunion of Suraj and Shweta, who co-starred in an independent movie titled ‘Illegal’.
