Influencer-actress Kusha Kapila, along with her mother Rita, recently opened up about how her divorce with Zorawar Ahluwalia affected her family.

In a conversation on Be A Parent Yaar for We Are Yuvaa’s YouTube channel, Kusha became emotional, reflecting on how the challenges of the past two years had strengthened her. Seeing her daughter's emotions, her mother gently shifted the topic to the next question.

Rita shared that while the experience was challenging, she chose not to dwell on people's opinions. Over time, the negativity faded, and now, her efforts are recognized and appreciated. The focus has shifted entirely to her growth and achievements, with no room for negative rumours anymore.



The influencer-actor feared how the situation might affect her mother, pleading not to let it disrupt her social life. Her mother recalled going to the temple earlier than usual to avoid attention. Despite her husband’s reassurance, one day, a lady brought up the issue. Feeling uneasy, she cried on her way home.



She continued, sharing how her husband reassured her that such challenges are just a part of life and shouldn’t affect her deeply. He even spoke to their relatives, ensuring no one troubled her about it. Someone later confronted the gossiping aunty, questioning her intentions at the temple, prompting an apology. Hearing this, Kusha burst into laughter.

Kusha Kapila and Zorawar Ahluwalia ended their marriage last year after dating for a few years and tying the knot in 2017. They announced their separation when a news outlet pressured them to confirm or deny the story within two days. Professionally, Kusha's recent work includes the web series Dehati Ladke.
