Zubeen Garg, a 52-year-old singer, passed away on September 19 while scuba diving in Singapore, where he was attending the North East India Festival. His sudden death left the entertainment industry in shock, and the film fraternity expressed their grief. Recently, Kumar Sanu shared a touching tribute to honor him.

Kumar Sanu started his message by expressing deep sadness over the loss of Zubeen Garg. He admitted, “I don’t even know what to say. It feels like the words just... aren’t there. When you hear news like this, about someone you’ve known and respected for so long, a part of you just shatters. Zubeen, my brother... gone. It’s a loss that’s hard to process.”

“I keep thinking about his voice. That unique, heartfelt sound that was so full of life and passion. He wasn’t just a singer; he was a force of nature. He sang from the soul, and you could feel it in every note. He brought the essence of Assam to the entire country and the whole world. I’ve seen the videos, the pictures of the thousands, the lakhs of people on the streets. It’s not just Assam that’s crying; the whole nation is grieving,” the singer added.
