Kubbra Sait’s role in Sacred Games did wonders to her career. The host-turned-actress featured in this Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer as a transgender woman named Kuckoo. She gained immense popularity for her hat ke character and soon she was approached for multiple projects.
The actress says that she is looking forward to play such varied characters that are strikingly different from one another and remain memorable with the audience.

She says, “I think stories are a powerful medium. Whether you tell stories on stage (in the form of a play) or audible stories (through podcasts or audio books), or through the medium of books or through films or web shows - what important is that the audience should remember these stories.”
She further adds, “I believe that it is all about how memorable or impactful your stories are. If I am a part of these stories where the characters are wonderfully etched then a Kubbra Sait can be forgotten as far as the characters remain with the audience.”
Interestingly, as time came to a standstill due to the lockdown owing to the pandemic, Kubbra took the opportunity to explore the medium of texts for communication. “I was like I have so much time in hand that I must explore my creative side. So, I started writing my memoir. I am planning to release it soon. I think if you tap your creative pull then wonderful ideas will keep coming.”
