‘KTina’: Ekta Kapoor unveils Disha Patani’s first look as she kickstarts shooting for the film

Early this week, it was announced that Disha Patani has been roped as the leading lady for Ekta Kapoor's next production venture. Today, the producer teased fans with a first look of Disha and it is nothing like anything we have seen in the past.
Donning a pink kurta with her hair neatly parted in the centre, the actress is seen joining her hands that are adorned with rings and good luck bracelets. “KTINA ka sab ko ‘JAI MATA DI’ !” Ekta captioned the click. She went on to explain, “She used to b TINA ab KTINA as K suits her Astro said, but yaaaar who wears so many rings???? @dishapatani A’s never before #favscript #shootbegins.”

The first look prompted actor Karan Wahi to ask if the film in question was a biopic of sorts on Ekta herself. But, the producer refused to spill the beans and merely laughed it off by commenting with emojis.

The cast and crew including Disha left for Chandigarh to commence the first schedule. The actress took to her Instagram handle to give fans a peek at the lush green area she will be shooting for the film.
Disha will reportedly play a small town Punjabi girl, a role she has never played in the past. This will also mark her first collaboration with Ekta Kapoor for a project.
Directed by Ashima Chibber, the film has been written by director Raaj Shaandilyaa of ‘Dream Girl’ fame.
