Krishna Raj Kapoor’s 10 memorable pictures with family

The Kapoor family matriarch Krishna Raj Kapoor breathed her last today. She passed away at the age of 87 after suffering from cardiac arrest. Other than being Raj Kapoor’s wife, she was known for her dignity, grace and sense of humour. Even as her family is grieving her tragic passing, many Bollywood celebs have been pouring in their condolences. At this somber occasion, here are a few memorable pictures of the later Mrs Kapoor with her loving family….

Krishna was quite active considering her advanced years and often participated in family outings. This picture here showcases on such outing. Taking to Instagram, her granddaughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared a picture with her and her mother Neetu Kapoor. Set against the beautiful Paris skyline with the Eiffel Tower in the backdrop, the picture speaks a thousand words about the bonding between the ladies.

Here is another picture featuring Krishna, her daughter-in-law Neetu Kapoor and granddaughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. The selfie taken by Riddhima, sees all three of them posing for the camera with a smile. Now, as Mrs Kapoor is no more, she shared this touching click on her Instagram as she professed her love for her grandmother. She simply captioned the click as, “Love you so much RIP ❤️.”

Krishna Raj Kapoor has witnessed three generations of the Kapoor clan before her passing. Other than being the grandmother to stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and many others, she also enjoyed to be a great grandmother, which is a rare thing. This next photo features her along with her great granddaughter Samara Sahni, daughter of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Krishna had accompanied the Kapoor clan early this year when they took a trip to Paris. Neetu Kapoor rang in her birthday in the French capital with her hubby Rishi Kapoor, son Ranbir, daughter Riddhima who was accompanied by her husband and daughter Samara along with her mother-in-law of course. Mrs Kapoor has always been a socialite which is part and parcel of being a spouse of a famous actor like Raj Kapoor. Even as recent as July, she made a public appearance at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s engagement party, accompanied with her lovely family of course. Taking to Instagram, her grandson Armaan Jain shared a picture with her along with cousin Ranbir. The matriarch looked radiant in traditional as she totally stole the show.

Ranbir Kapoor is definitely one of the biggest stars in the current Kapoor generation. But when it comes to spending time with his grandmother, he becomes a kid again, as this picture will prove. In this super cute click that has surfaced online, Ranbir can be seen sitting on Krishna’s lap as he smiles happily for the camera. This picture shows how dear she is to every member of the clan who love her so dearly.

The Kapoor family matriarch is known to be quite loving towards her grandchildren and great grandchildren. This next picture shows the bond she shares with the little ones.
