Krazy demand?
Shilpa Shetty reportedly asked for Rs 50 lakh to do an item number in Rakesh Roshan’s Krazy 4. Roshan refused to pay up, and signed Rakhi Sawant instead.
Rakesh Roshan had approached Shilpa Shetty to perform an item number in his Krazy 4. Apparently, Shilpa turned down the offer because Rakesh was unable to offer the amount that she had demanded.
If sources are to be believed, the actress, after her newfound star status in the film industry, asked for as much as Rs 50 lakh. Rakesh Roshan refused to pay up.
After the success of Celebrity Big Brother, Shilpa Shetty has become a big star internationally.
So, she’s expecting a big price in India too. And being one who does not believe in compromising on her price even if it means losing out on projects, she has refused to be part of Krazy 4.
When contacted, Shilpa who is currently rehearsing for her Broadway Bollywood in Mumbai, said, “I don’t talk about films that I’m not doing.
After Shetty opted out of the project, Rakhi Sawant stepped into her shoes. Incidentally, Rakesh Roshan had first approached Bipasha Basu for the item number.
Bips had turned down the offer, apparently, because she had some differences with Arshad Warsi who is playing the main lead.
