Kolkata’s share of Bullet Raja

Leaving behind a roaring crowd screaming his name, Saif Ali Khan entered Laha Bari on Saturday afternoon to shoot for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullet Raja. Playing out inside was the drama revolving around a banedi family. Making it come alive were Kolkata actors Dulal Lahiri, Sarbani Chatterjee, Sudip Mukherjee and Moumita Gupta.
Before starting his day’s shoot, Saif shook hands with Dulal, who plays Sonakshi Sinha’s father.The actor is visibly impressed. “The first day we shot together, Saif said, ‘You are brilliant’ . He is extremely encouraging and down to earth,” says Dulal, who landed himself the role after the casting director spotted him in a Bengali soap. Rahul Mittra from the production adds, “There’s a huge talent pool here and we wanted to tap into that.”
