Rahat Kazmi's upcoming movie 'Lihaaf' which has already won hearts of people round the globe is all set to participate in 25th Kolkata International Film Festival
(KIFF) in Competition round next week. Organized by West Bengal Film Centre and founded in 1995, KIFF is the second oldest international film festival in India. The organization is recognized by International Federation of Film Producers' Association (FIAPF-Paris), an international authority of film festivals.

Mamata Banerjee in the presence of
Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan,
Jaya Bachchan, Mahesh
Bhatt, Rakhee Gulzar, Kumar Shahani among others at Netaji Indoor Stadium on November 8.
This year, the festival, which will continue till November 15, has
received approximately 2,500 entries from 76 countries which includes 214 feature films, 152 short films and documentaries for competition and non-competition
rounds.
Nevertheless, the parameters of competition is on two levels, Indian and International level. Lihaaf would be participating in the competition of Indian Film Languages, consisting Roya Sadat, Ajja Husain, and Jeffrey Jeturian as jury members. The festival would be attended by the starcast of 'Lihaaf' along with the director and the producers in Kolkata. The team is excited to participate in the event after the successful screening of their film worldwide.
Directed by Rahat Kazmi, the film is produced by Tariq Khan, Zeba Sajid, Namita Lal, Ashish Wagh, Umesh Shukla and co-produced by Oscar winner Marc Baschet.
The film features Tannishtha Chatterjee, Sonal Sehgal and Anushka Sen in the lead roles while Shoib Nikash Shah and Mir Sarwar would be seen in parallel lead
roles. The film also showcases the director and the producers in special appearances while Naresh Kamath has given soul to the music.
