Koffee With Karan 8: Karan Johar pinches Kareena Kapoor Khan by reminding her about her infamous catfight with Ameesha Patel

Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be making a joint appearance on Karan Johar's popular chat show Koffee With Karan 8. The promo of the upcoming episode has finally landed online and it looks like a lot of coffee will be spilled on the show.
The clip show Karan teasing Alia and Kareena and figuring out who is jethani and who is bhabhi after Alia got married to Ranbir Kapoor. The moment Karan mentions the word 'bhabhi', Kareena immediately responds, "I am not anyone's bhabhi!" Technically, Kareena is Alia's sister-in-law as she married her cousin Ranbir.
As the promo progresses, Karan then pinches Kareena by asking her about her infamous catfight with Ameesha Patel. He first cornered Kareena asking her why she was absent from Gadar 2 success party.

Kareena expressed her shock over the question and said, "Me?" To which, Karan immediately reminded her that she must have skipped the event given their bitter history with each other.

He then mentioned the fact that Kareena was supposed to be the lead heroine of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai opposite Hrithik Roshan and but it was Ameesha who got the part. To which, Kareena said, "I am ignoring Karan, as you all can see!"

Earlier reports had suggested that Kareena left the film because her mother Babita wasn't satisfied with the project and asked her to back out. However, Ameesha recently revealed that Kareena didn't leave but she was thrown out of the film.
In an old interview with Filmfare, Kareena had said that she was glad she did not do Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. "The film was made for Hrithik. His dad spent five hours on every frame and close-up of his, whereas not even five seconds were spent on Ameesha. There are portions in the film where she has pimples and under-eye bags on her face. She just doesn’t look beautiful, but every shot of his was a dream. So, I’m glad I didn’t do the film,” she had said.
