Actress Kirti Kulhari took on an unconventional route with her critically acclaimed film Shaitan where she starred opposite an anti-hero with dark shades. And this time too she gets into something much darker, falling in love with Luke Kenny, India's first Zombie, as India's Brad Pitt in the zombie horror genre.

Though the talented Kirti is quite proud this time, to be featured in India's 1st zombie film as every major filmmaking countries in the world have their own Zombie film, which is increasingly becoming a cultural phenomenon!
Rise of the Zombie is a dark horror thriller, Kirti shared an excellent camaraderie with Luke Kenny on the sets of the film.
Kirti Kulhari would also lovingly call Luke Kenny 'Brad Pitt of India' during the shoots, because Brad's 'World war Zombie Z' will be releasing in 2013, as even Rise of the Zombie will be releasing next year. Luke Kenny too joked saying, "Thank God she didn't call him Osama , as even Osama Zombie 'OSOMBIE was filmed in Hollywood! But guess Kenny is white, and so Brad suits better!
And on quizzing them about which country in the world practised witchcraft in creating real zombie slaves out of people, the answer was in 'Haiti' a Caribbean country, where witchcraft was cruelly practised by voodoo priests to turn the living into Zombie slaves.
Phew! The unconventional heroine is really into her roles and now!!
