Kiran Rao's quick trip to homeland

Kiran Rao made a quick trip to hometown Bangalore over the weekend to host two special screenings of 'Ship Of Theseus', she made it a point to treat the film’s cast and crew to some traditional local fare.
While Kiran was very much present for the grand screening later in the evening at the posh Windsor Manor which was attended by the creme-de-lacreme of the city, she chose to give a miss to the second screening at the humbler 60-seater Renukhamba theatre the very next day.Ironically, the theatre is located in Malleswaram — the same suburb where Rao’s residence is. Should we simply put it down to time constraints?
