Kiara Advani, who has been on a roll with back to back hits, may just be in talks to star in the upcoming ‘
Sam Manekshaw
’, opposite actor
Vicky Kaushal.
According to a report on Filmfare, Kiara is currently in talks with
Ronnie Screwvala’s production house for a “unique” project and if things go according to plan, she may just sign up in the coming months. The production company is currently working on two films – ‘Rashmi Rocket’ and the Manekshaw biopic. As
Taapsee Pannu and
Aparshakti Khurana have been confirmed for ‘Rashmi Rocket’, chances are that Kiara might just be gearing up for the
Meghna Gulzar directorial.
If the reports turn out to be true, then this will not be the first time that fans get to see Kiara and Vicky share the frame. The two have worked together in the past on ad campaigns and even featured together in a series.
The first look of Vicky as the Field Marshal was released last June.
According to the director, the film will not entirely be a biopic but will highlight certain aspects of Manekshaw’s life. Shooting will start in 2021, as the team will have to get things in place and prep to shoot scenes involving the Partition, accession of Kashmir and the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Meanwhile, as Vicky gears up for the release of ‘Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship’, Kiara is getting ready for the release of ‘Shershaah’.
