Kiara Advani signs up to play the leading lady in Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Karram Kurram’

Kiara Advani has signed up to play the leading lady in ace filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s next titled ‘Karram Kurram’. The film will be based on the success story of a popular ‘papad’ chain. ‘Karram Kurram’ will narrate the story of a woman who started a co-operative organization to bring together six other housewives and sustained the households of thousands of women for over six decades. Presented under the banner of Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, ‘Karram Kurram’ will be directed by Glenn Baretto and Ankush Mohla, both of them have assisted Ashutosh in the past.

Currently, Kiara is busy with the shooting for her next film – ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. Directed by Raj Mehta, the fun entertainer features Anil Kapoor,

Neetu Kapoor

, Varun Dhawan and Prajakta Koli in lead roles. As Kiraa romances Varun in the film, she had shared a charming click with her ‘happy husband’ on Instagram.



Kiara Advani will also be seen sharing the frame with Sidharth Malhotra in ‘Shershaah’. She has often been linked with her co-star. Clearing the air about her relationship status, Kiara had recently shared on a talk show that she is single till the time she is married.
