‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ song 'Dil Jaaniye': Sonakshi Sinha drops teaser of the romantic track before its 16 July release

Sonakshi Sinha is on a mission to challenge the norms set by society and get people talking about sex in her latest film ‘Khandani Shafakhana’. The flick that revolves around a woman running a sex clinic, will see the star share screen space with rapper Badshah, Varun Sharma and Annu Kapoor.
A day after she bid a farewell to the crew on wrapping up the film, the actress took to social media to share a teaser of the romantic track 'Dil Jaaniye', before its official release on 16 July.“चखो lemony love ka स्वाद with #Dil Jaaniye. Song out on Tuesday! #KhandaaniShafakhana on August 2nd!” she said in her post.

Speaking about the challenges she took head-on, she said that she realised the film gave her an opportunity to explore stereotypes attached to sex and how a small town India perceives the subject.

"In the film, my character struggles to thwart the social stigma and ignorance about sex in a small town. We have always had male protagonists in such films. I feel happy that I am the flag bearer in terms of the subject - running a sex clinic in a film," Sonakshi told PTI in an interview.
Directed by Shilpi Dasgupta, the film is slated for release on August 2.
