Kartik Aaryan is currently riding high on the success of his last release ‘Bhool Bhulayiaa 2’, which became one of the very few Bollywood films that enjoyed huge commercial success. And now if latest reports are to be believed then the makers of his next ‘Freddy’ are likely to have taken an important decision regarding the film’s release.
There's been speculation that the highly-anticipated film, also starring Alaya F and Jeniffer Piccinato in key roles, might opt for a direct-to-OTT release. Buzz is strong that the ‘Freddy’ team is reportedly planning to negotiate a staggering Rs 70 crore deal with an international OTT platform. The Kartik Aaryan starrer is an intense story of love and obsession.
Rumour has it that the final paperwork is yet to be completed, but the OTT giant and the producers of ‘Freddy’ have been in talks for the last couple of months.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is reuniting with his ‘Bhool Bhulayiaa 2’ co-star Kiara Advani in the musical love story ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’. The film, scheduled to release on June 29 next year, will see Kartik undergoing many layers of personality makeover to emerge in a completely new light. The popular actor will also share the screen with Kriti Sanon in Shehzada, a remake of the 2020 Telugu film ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. Then he will also work with Hansal Mehta in ‘Captain India’, essaying the role of an air force officer.
