While Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor continues to maintain a busy schedule with several films lined up in his kitty, recent reports suggested that the actor is all set to reunite with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his next ‘Baiju Bawra’.
Although several celebs were earlier roped in the SLB’s project who eventually opted out, reportedly it’s now
Kartik Aaryan who might replace Ranbir in the lead.
According to sources, ‘Baiju Bawra’ will likely star A-listers including Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn. While Ranbir was the newest addition to the cast, now the actor is having a second thought about working for SLB.
“Ranbir has expressed his confusion to Bhansali and the team as well. He is not sure of Baiju Bawra and with another Dharma project in his kitty;
RK doesn’t seem to be keen anymore on working with SLB again. Not many know that he did not have a great experience working with him during Saawariya and they have never done a film after that. So it’s most likely that Ranbir is going to opt-out of the project, although nothing was ever locked on papers” quoted a news portal.

There were also speculations in the trade that Kartik was meeting with representatives of
Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions
for another project, with could be an
OTT
series. But there has been no confirmation on this development either.
Meanwhile, Ranbir will be next seen in Ayan Mukherji's 'Brahmastra'. He also has 'Shamshera' and Luv Ranjan's next with Shraddha Kapoor.
Kartik, on the other hand, recently announced a musical love saga previously titled 'Satyanarayan Ki Katha'. He is waiting for the release of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’.
