Kartik Aaryan reacts to reports about him replacing Akshay Kumar in 'Housefull 5': Koi mujhse bhi poochega?

Kartik Aaryan is currently riding high on the success of his recently released film, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. Amid this, it was speculated that Kartik will be replacing Akshay Kumar in the 'Housefull' franchise too. Earlier, Akshay and Vidya Balan featured in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' and the first part was also a hit at the box office.
Kartik has now reacted to the rumours of him replacing Akshay in 'Housefull 5' yet again.He took to Twitter and rubbished the rumours.
The actor shared a news article and wrote, "Koi mujhse bhi poochega meri agli picture kaunsi hai? Baseless" followed by laughing and folded hands emojis. Have a look:

Soon after he reacted to the reports, fans were seen calling him the next Akshay Kumar. A comment read, "He is the next Akshay kumar in all sense, does good in comedy, gives hit somehow, quotes unnecessary tweets, etc. bookmark this tweet." Another fan wrote, "You only tell us, what's your next project."
Earlier, the rumours were also rife that Kartik has hiked his fees. Reportedly, he used to charge Rs 15-20 crore, but now reportedly Kartik would charge Rs 35-40 crore per film henceforth. Reacting to this, Kartik tweeted, "Promotion hua hai life mein Increment nahi Baseless."
On the work front, Kartik has 'Shehzada', 'Captain India', 'Freddy' and Sajid Nadiadwala's untitled next in the pipeline.
