Kartik Aaryan eyes October release for 'Tu Meri Zindagi Hai' to avoid clash with Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayana: Part 1' - Reports

Kartik Aaryan is currently navigating a hectic work schedule as he simultaneously shoots for filmmaker Kabir Khan’s next and Anurag Basu’s romantic musical ‘Tu Meri Zindagi Hai’. The actor is reportedly aligning both timelines carefully to ensure the latter wraps up in time, especially to avoid a box office clash with ‘Ramayana: Part 1’. The makers intend to complete ‘Tu Meri Zindagi Hai’ early to avoid competition from ‘Ramayana: Part 1,’ which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash and is expected to dominate screens during Diwali.According to Mid-Day, Anurag Basu and the team are looking for sufficient breathing room at the box office, aiming for a smooth theatrical run without facing a large-scale spectacle like ‘Ramayana’. The source also mentioned that with ‘Drishyam 3’ being the only major release in October, producer Bhushan Kumar and Basu are considering that month for release. The film has already completed a schedule in Kashmir featuring Kartik and co-star Sreeleela. The next phase will take place in Manali as the team continues its fast-paced shooting plan. The reports further stated that the team aims to finish most of the film before peak summer. It was added that once the major portions are wrapped, Kartik Aaryan will shift focus to Kabir Khan’s sports drama, while Anurag Basu will proceed with finalising the film’s edit.On the work front, Kartik Aaryan’s latest film was ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’ (2026), helmed by Sameer Vidwans. Next up, he will be seen in the action-thriller ‘Naagzilla’ in August 2026. Apart from the Anurag Basu film, the actor also has a movie titled 'Naagzilla' lined up ahead. He will also feature in the fourth installment of the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' franchise. He also has a project named 'Captain India', directed by Shimit Amin, in the pipeline.Meanwhile, Sreeleela was recently seen in the Pawan Kalyan starrer 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh'. The movie clashed with 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' at the box office. She will next feature in a movie, 'Junior'. She will be paired with Ibrahim Ali Khan in their upcoming untitled project.
