Kartik Aaryan and Ananya panday kick off the first schedule of 'Pati, Patni Aur Woh' with a song in Mumbai

Earlier this month, Kriti Sanon had dashed off to Lucknow to shoot for a special appearance in Mudassar Aziz’s 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' remake. As a news agency had reported (September 5) her role is modelled on the lines of Parveen Babi’s Neeta from the 1978 original. On Thursday, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday kickstarted the final schedule in Mumbai with a song which is important to the narrative.
“It’s a fun number, set in a club and choreographed by Bosco (Martis). It was filmed over two days; after a short break the unit will resume shooting and are hoping to wrap up the film by the month-end,” informed a source, pointing out that Kartik will flag off the Anees Bazmee-directed 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' sequel from October with Kiara Advani while Ananya will get busy with Ali Abbas Zafar’s 'Khaali Peeli' which also features Ishaan Khatter.
The original with Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta, was a comical take on extra-marital affairs. To woo his sexy secretary, the husband passes off his wife as terminally ill, till his lies are busted. Ananya is reportedly playing Ranjeeta’s role in the Bhushan Kumar and Juno Chopra production.
