Karthika to romance Akshay?

Bollywood seems to be welcoming more and more south beauties these days. After Charmee, Ileana and Kajal Aggarwal, now Tamil actress Karthika is going to join the bandwagon. It is believed that Akshay is keen to sign Karthika for his forthcoming film.
Reportedly Akki plans to remake the Tamil film Ko in Hindi and is also planning to have a new face opposite him. According to an industry source, Akshay is keen to sign the actress of the original film, Karthika opposite him.
The Tamil film ‘Ko’ starred Jeeva and Karthika in lead roles. It is believed that Akshay met Karthika’s mother, veteran Tamil actress Radhika and discussed about casting Karthika as the female lead opposite him. Tamil film Ko’s Hindi remake will be co-produced by Akshay Kumar’s banner Hari Om Productions.
Akki who is presently shooting in London for Housefull 2, will soon make an announcement on the same.
