. Earlier, there was a section which criticized them for not extending financial help to PM’s Cares Fund and contributing to global agencies. And now in yet another post, Kareena has pledged support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Cares Fund as well as CM’s Relief Fund (Maharasthra).


Karisma Kapoor also announced that she has extended financial support to PM Cares as well as CM’s Relief Fund (Maharasthra). “We donated , please donate too.. a small contribution can help so many lives,” Karisma had shared.



In the past, Akshay Kumar pledged to donate Rs 25 crore, in support to PM Modi’s post urging people to donate funds for disaster management and research amidst this health scare. In an interview with a news portal Akshay had stated that this is his mother’s contribution for ‘Bharat Maa’. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma also extended financial support to PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). “Our hearts are breaking looking at the suffering of so many & we hope our contribution, in some way, helps easing the pain of our fellow citizens. #IndiaFightsCorona,” the couple had shared in a social media statement.
